| Welcome on my "chronological" science site! |
|
At the age of seven (1951) I devoured the the “Myths & epics of ancient Greece”, and at 10 I wanted to write books myself. With 15 I started in the university library looking after editions and in the High School I soon met the Vorsocratics and the psychology of C. G. Jung. At 17 I wrote on the topic “Dilemma”. Besides that I dealt intense with photography, movies (1958-1965) and journalism. I was interested in architecture, fashion and advertising, appraised painting, piano and jazz, and liked towns and mountains as well as skiing and dancing on ice. |

At the University (1962-70) I liked history of culture and technology, philosophy of science and methodology. In 1963 I began a series of articles with the cavemen - since then I got a holy “chronological eagerness”, which has not left until today. After basic studies in natural sciences and medicine I changed to humanities. Principal studies were industrial psychology, tests and social research. I visited also lectures in philosophy, sociology and German language, furthermore on polarity (1964) and parapsychology (1966). I learned to program computers (1967) and heard on the radio (1968) the Swiss astrophysicist Fritz Zwicky on „Morphology as a Discipline”. 1969 I stumbled on “prominent foreigners in Switzerland”, 1975 on the uneasy relationship of the Swiss to their Nobel Prize Winners. 1973 I discovered systems thinking, modern management and creativity. 1974 „model“, 1975 „holism“, 1980 decision making, values and images or concepts of men, 1982 the stock exchange. |

Now I'm presenting the fruits of my occupation from these times on with these topics. There are documents for lectures, various articles and working papers. Dating covers 50 years. Length varies from 1 to 100 pages. In addition there are two pdf-files. Since January 1992 I compiled chronological bibliographies on the computer. The first ones concerned titles on esotericism, decisions making plus management and leadership (all 1992). Since then I used more and more my computer for texts and compilations. In fall 2000 I started building up my website. I paid attention to reproduce all formulated text in the original wording – minor exceptions are declared. For better readability sometimes I inserted small titles.
Why Chronologizing? The chronological presentation shows deference to the innumerable researchers and philosophers, who mostly are forgotten. The result is a surprising culture-historical sketch of great topics and short-time trends, sometimes amazing, often puzzling. In order to make sense of chronologizing, I looked for all publications to find the date of the first edition. Furthermore I looked out for translations into German respectively English and for complete first names. There are also chronological lists of the nearly 200 chronological bibliographies and the 100 chronological thematic lists. I am very grateful for corrections and supplements.
All bibliographies and chonological lists are supposed to be useful for the international scientific community. Of the more than 1000 files (and in addition 400 figures) are in English:
